Electrical Installations

I provide a wide range of professional services to meet your needs. I promise to provide every service with a smile and to your highest level of satisfaction.

It is easy to make an electrical circuit work – it’s harder to make the circuit work safely!
Fuse Boards & Earthing

Are you considering having your Fuse-Board replaced or upgraded?

M. Cox Electrical have been successfully installing and up-grading fuse boards domestically & commercially around North Devon, that also includes 3 Phase boards.

A new fuse-board can be efficiently installed with minimum disruption.

A fuse-board or consumer unit is an important device that controls how the electricity in your building is controlled and distributed.

Many homes and offices still have ageing, re-wirable or old style fuse-boards that are potentially dangerous. Renewing your fuse-board will improve safety, giving you vital protection from potential electrical faults.

I use only good quality and well built fuse-boards, all fuse-boards I replace meet the current BS7671 requirements for electrical installations. On completion I will issue the appropriate certificates including Part-P.

All works are carried out to the highest standards in accordance with current building regulations and are covered & regulated by my Competent Persons Scheme (CPS).

Full & Partial Re-wires

Rewiring is a process of a partial or complete replacement of the wiring and accessories within your home. It may be required due to the bad condition of the wiring, exceptional circumstances or a failing point of an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR).

I offer a full and partial re-wiring of both domestic and commercial properties whether occupied or unoccupied. Before I start a full or partial re-wire I will carry out a FREE thorough assessment of your property before submitting your estimate.

Problems with the wiring may cause fire or damage electrical appliances.

I will discuss with you exactly what you need in terms of sockets, switches, and additional safety requirements to comply with all appropriate regulations. I will also advise you on the best, most cost effective and efficient method of carrying out what’s needed. This will ensure you get an accurate estimate in terms of price and time scale. On completion an appropriate certificate shall be issued.

Make sure I am 1 of your 3 quotes.
